REQUIEM FOR AN EGG

To boil an egg is immoral. It is the cruel, inhuman degradation of a         thing Far greater than ourselves. It is the vicious, Malicious Torture Of perfection personified. This act of infamy Deprives an egg of those rights Which should be safeguarded: The right to love, The right to live, The right to roll, And, most of all, The right to splatter in whatever         unsymmetrical pattern It so desires when SMASHED. And then the right To ooze and run all over the floor - We are here to guarantee That the way of the egg will be made         safe. The egg is more than White,              Yolk,                         Shell. It is the perfection of existing. We must love the egg. We must honor the egg. We must OBEY the egg. Make way for the egg, my fellow man. For all eggs are good; All eggs are perfect; All Eggs are love In the eyes of The Great Egg CRUNCH.
